ChatGPT Will Now Allow Users To Upload Files And Get Response

In terms of generative AI, very few of them are doing as much as ChatGPT. The OpenAI creation isn’t just existing as one of the pioneers in the field; they are also bringing a lot of changes to make the entire experience better regarding AI.

Previously, the recent change brings voice addition and the ability to surf the internet. But now, you can also upload files to communicate with the AI, a necessary and critical step for the future.

The bot is now testing for ‘Advanced Data Analysis,’ allowing users to upload files in conversation. The chatbot can analyze and summarize uploaded data sheets, providing text and visual summaries. It also handles text-based questions about the data, autonomously selecting suitable models.

Now, this will help the chatbot to be incorporated in more tiresome tasks, it will indeed have a better impact than the rest of the existing softwares. Also, in terms of uploaded files, it isn’t just limited to text or graphs; now ChatGPT will be generating images as well.

Though the part of image generation and analysis will partly be done by OpenAI’s own DALL-E3 model.

This set of changes will now compete with Google’s venture in AI, as Bard can now extract information from the files existing in Google Drive. Bard’s latest extension also enables it to summarize multiple emails in one go, without the need for individual prompts. Additionally, it can now access and extract images from received emails when requested.

Now, as they are now competing on a level playing field, users can expect some necessary changes in terms of user experience. Sooner rather than later, as we progress towards an AI-oriented future, we can make it an inseparable part of our lives.
