Andhra Student’s Heartbreaking Tragdey in U.S.

Syed Karimulla, a 24-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh studying at St. Louis University, Missouri, US, suffered a severe brain injury in a tragic water accident at an apartment pool.

The incident occurred on July 8th, when Karim, unable to swim, accidentally slipped into the deeper end of the pool while with his friends. Despite their desperate efforts to save him, Karim remained submerged for several minutes, resulting in severe damage to his brain and other major organs.

Currently in a coma for two weeks, Karim continues to display immense courage. Doctors presented his parents with two heartbreaking choices: keeping him on life support indefinitely with the requirement of two major surgeries, or allowing him to pass away peacefully by removing life support.

Facing an unimaginably difficult decision, Karim’s parents, who live in India, have opted to remove life support. In response, Karim’s friends have started a fundraising campaign to help with the family’s financial burden, including education loans and immediate expenses.
