In a shocking incident, a person shot and killed 10 people at a school in British Colombia, Canada. The person opened fire and killed many and seriously injured several others.
The person who committed the crime tried to injure himself and commit suicide, the police said. According to Canadian time, the murder happened at 12.30pm on Tuesday afternoon at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School. The police also found that two others were killed in the incident at a nearby house.
The police think that their deaths were related to the shooting at the school. The pice are now combing the place to find if anyone else is injured in the attack.
They are checking the houses in the vicinity. Though the investigating agencies identified the shooter, his details haven’t been released yet.
It is not clear if it is a hate crime or a case of homicide. The Canadian citizens are shocked by the development and are demanding strict gun laws and stringent law & order measures.
