It is a long known strategy in American politics to demonize politicians by alleging their allegiance to left politics. Communism is the biggest enemy of the United States even without stepping foot in the country. The specter of it haunts citizens as they have been conditioned to be afraid of it and Donald Trump is using it to come against Kamala Harris as he runs out of ammo.
Donald Trump has said that Harris is unfit to rule and also called her a “radical left lunatic”. Kamala Harris started her campaign against Trump and attacked the very policies he has been branding as his big proposed steps to create a conservative America.
Although it is beyond understanding how Trump and America sees left politics. The fact is that when it comes to mainstream politics in the US, the left do not exist. The battle has always been between two right with one being more radical than the other.
The last thing close to left politics that took the center stage was Bernie Sanders’ free healthcare that was rejected as it is more patriotic to give away a month’s salary on an injection. It is ridiculous how Trump compares Harris with the left even after her complete support of the Biden administration’s crack crackdown on students and the huge aid package for wars.
