The richest man in the world is facing serious trouble for his controversial post on his own social media platform X.
A few days ago, after a second assassination attempt on Trump, Musk responded to an X user asking for the reason behind repeated assassination attempts on Trump. The X owner reposted, “And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala???”
The post received considerable criticism and backlash, which led to Musk deleting it in hours and passing it on as a joke. However, it turned out it was too late, as the multi-billionaire might be facing legal trouble for his “jokes.”
According to Bloomberg, the US Secret Services has launched a Probe into Musk’s post. This means the Tesla CEO can be subject to heavy fines or prison of up to five years for threatening the President and Vice President.
The Secret Service understandably didn’t offer much detail on the investigation yet. However, they commented on the matter assuring everyone that they are aware of the post and are investigating all threats to their protectees seriously.
