A Green Card holder turned US citizen has made shocking allegations about their former employer through social media. Claiming he has deep government ties, the employer is allegedly threatening to get the immigrant citizen deported over a fake debt.
Giving further details on their condition, this ex-employer only sponsored their H1B visa, not the green card. The green card came through another company, and the person became a citizen last year.
The former boss allegedly started demanding money and then claimed he was reporting the person to DHS (Department of Homeland Security). He even claimed that DHS was already discussing the case with him and even asked for proof of lawyer fees he paid.
The person is now scared because they did nothing wrong. Since the employer is “quite a famous person,” they want to escalate this issue by posting it online.
Netizens, however, aren’t convinced with these big claims. Losing US citizenship is extremely rare unless there is serious fraud.
