Indians School UK Politician Who Tried Shaming India

As India celebrates the successful launch of Chandrayaan 3, with ISRO’s third lunar exploration mission expecting a soft landing on August 23rd, India will become the fourth country, after the United States, China, and Russia, to land its spacecraft on the lunar surface.

It appears that Britain is not very pleased with our progress, despite the world appreciating our mission. British Minister Paul Golding made a controversial statement, which resulted in immediate trolling.

Paul Golding said, “Well done, India, on the success of your space program. And shame on UK politicians who keep unnecessarily giving tens of millions of pounds in ‘foreign aid’ to India.”

India took it as offense and schooled him badly:

For those who are unaware, the UK provides a sum of £200m to India for the betterment of the poor. However, it does not offer anything substantial. How can British aid make a difference when India itself spends 70 billion on welfare? This insignificant amount, termed as aid, serves no purpose. Indians have requested them to stop sending aid, and our president once referred to this aid as peanuts.
