
This Walkathon was coordinated by British women in sarees, leading a march from Trafalgar Square to the Mahatma Gandhi statue at Parliament Square. Around 500 women from states such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, and Delhi participated in traditional attire. Chants of patriotic slogans along the route attracted tourists and onlookers. They celebrated the march with garba, dandiya, and Bollywood beats, with passersby also joining their celebrations.
