Shameful Incident at Indian Event in Edison, NJ

Actress Tamannaah celebrated Independence Day in Edison, New Jersey, which is called as mini India due to the sheer number of Indians residing there. Despite being far from India, she was warmly welcomed by people during the India Day Parade.

However, the parade faced an unfortunate and shameful incident investigated by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office. A group of men allegedly brandishing flags representing militant Hinduism joined the parade, leading to concerns of intimidation towards Muslim marchers.

The Indian American Muslim Council condemned this display of flags, highlighting the rise of violence against religious minorities in India.

The parade, organized by the Indian Business Association, brings together Indian American families and business groups to celebrate India’s diversity. The incident involved the appearance of men wielding flags associated with the Bajrang Dal, sparking a debate on the nature of their slogans and intentions.
