Arianna “Aria” Kamal, an 18-year-old who tragically lost her life in a suspected murder-suicide alongside her parents Rakesh and Teena Kamal, was remembered as a brilliant and deeply spiritual individual.

Arianna, a recent graduate of Milton Academy, was described as a sweet, smart, and kind young woman with immense potential.
She had just begun her studies at Middlebury College, where she participated in a first-year seminar on mindfulness in education. She was also set to perform at an Opera in Italy.
Teena and Rakesh Kamal, who once operated the now-dissolved EduNova education systems company, were the sole occupants of their expansive estate. Teena, listed as the company’s chief operating officer, held degrees from Harvard University and Delhi University.
The Kamals’ tragic end has sparked outrage online and offline, with many expressing anger at the loss of Arianna, a young life full of promise.
People are condemning the act, suggesting that any familial issues should have been addressed without resorting to such a devastating outcome, especially taking the life of someone with a bright future ahead.
