Haven’t we heard enough time Trump’s plan to deport foreigners to come to the conclusion that he doesn’t really like immigrants? Well it looks like we’ve been wrong all this time because he wants to keep some of them but there’s a catch. This offer is not for everyone and just the creamy layer of immigrants are in Trump’s good boy/girl list.
Trump was invited to a podcast hosted by one of the top tech investors from Silicon Valley. The host asked Trump if he would allow more foreigners to be retained and recruited by companies as the industry requires that level of skill.
Trump has been harsh on immigrants and has blamed them for a number of problems that exist in the country. Quite surprisingly he said he wants every foreigner who graduates from a US college to get a green card.
This is not long after he wanted to throw out foreign students because they participated in protests. It is clear that his treatment of immigrants is nothing better than a capitalist venture. He wants them, if they can earn for the big companies without complaining much.
This can potentially lead to systematic exclusion of the working and poor class from the legal immigration framework. On the other hand this can be great news for foreign students in America or those who wish to study in America.
