Young Indian Women Officially In Demand For British Office

If you’re an Indian woman aged between 18-23, there’s an opportunity for you to experience being the High Commissioner at the British High Commission in Delhi. The High Commission has launched an event named ‘High Commissioner For A Day’ which will give an opportunity to young women to get into the role of one of the highest diplomats for one day.

The event aims to provide an opportunity to these women to exhibit their strength and leadership skills globally. To participate in this event, the participants need to upload a video on social media and tag the UK High Commission in it with the hashtag #DayOfTheGirl.

There’s also a theme for this event and the participants have to create the video on that particular question. The video should deal with “How can the UK and India collaborate on technology to benefit future generations?” The competition is likely to bring out creative solutions to this issue and further develop the current works already in place.

The participants must upload the video before 4th of September and the video should not be more than one minute long. There’s also a form that needs to be submitted for the competition. The jury to decide the winner will be from the British High Commission.
