BB8: Nabeel & Mehboob About ‘Community Voting’

Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 is progressing well with the entry of 8 wild-card contestants. Mehboob, a dancer who shot to fame on social media and who was also a part of the fourth season, made his way back to the current season. However, he triggered a controversy now with his comments about ‘community voting.’

It all started when Mehboob was picked as the Mega chief by another contestant, Nabeel Afridi, who was the Sanchalak for the task. When it happened, a lot of people on social media alleged that Nabeel intentionally gave an edge to Mehboob despite Hariteja giving her best, and the reason for this is that the duo belonged to the same religion.

Now, taking this to another level, for the first time in Bigg Boss Telugu history, Mehboob discussed about getting his community’s votes for him as well as Nabeel. The segment is not telecasted yet, as it was telecasted during the live yesterday.

In the video, we can see both Nabeel and Mehboob having a chat during the night time in the garden area. Mehboob tells Nabeel that they have a huge plus point in the form of community voting. “It is a big plus for us. However, we should ensure that neither is in nominations. Otherwise, the community voting gets divided,” he said.

A lot of netizens are finding faults with this and criticizing both of them for openly discussing community voting. In fact, it brings negativity towards the two contestants as they want their community to vote for them in the name of community but not on the basis of their game.
