BB 9: EP 10: Unmasking Nominations

The nominations of the second week continued on the eleventh day as well. In the tenth episode, more housemates got the opportunity to nominate others, while we had seen only Tanuja and Manish doing the honours in the previous episode.

The current episode gives a perfect elevation to Bharani, with the commoners nominating him for reasons that are not justifiable. One major reason was the trust issues with him in the egg-stealing issue. Bharani did not want to disclose that Sanjjana had stolen it because Tanuja had requested that he keep the egg a secret, as she had some personal issues. However, it is a tricky situation, but Bharani later went ahead to apologize to all the commoners and even received the punishment. To bring this reason again in the nominations is silly because neither the audiences nor Nagarjuna brought it up during the weekend, as the audiences took it as a fun element in the show. The most frustrating to watch is Srija nominating Bharani for bringing a locket with him into the house. It is not a reason to nominate and is not justified. It is his mother’s locket, and there is nothing more to it. In the most surprising manner, all these commoners nominated Bharani only to give him elevations and make him a hero outside the house.

Instead, Manish could have nominated Srija and Priya, with whom he had issues. Srija could also have nominated others from celebrities with whom she faced conflicts. The same is the case with other commoners who nominated Bharani.

On the other hand, Mask Man Harish is also behaving in a rude manner in the house. He is on a hunger strike out of anger toward other inmates. Considering all the others unworthy and finding it difficult to survive in the house among such housemates, Harish stopped eating. Ramu Rathod has been tasked to take care of Harish, but he is not listening. Despite repeated requests, Harish is not paying attention to suggestions of Ramu. The irony is that Rithu was the only one who supported Harish during the weekend episode. Despite knowing that, Harish went ahead to nominate Rithu without even showing his gratitude. Tanuja already nominated Harish, while Bharani is also unhappy with him. Emmanuel also nominated Harish for the issues that he faced last week, regarding the Gundu Uncle issue, as well as the body-shaming conflict.

With these back-to-back nominations and with his already spoiled mood, Harish could not have patience and started yelling at others while he stayed mum with commoners, despite having ruptured bonds with them.
