Karthi is one of the greatest stars in the Tamil film industry in current times. Karthi was at the trailer launch event of his 25th film, “Japan,” where he also talked about “Kaithi 2.”

Lokesh Kangarajan’s “Kaithi” was one of the biggest Tamil hits of 2019 and gained Karthi huge popularity for his portrayal of Dilli, a character that has become an integral part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Since then, Lokesh Kangarajan has released “Vikram,” which became an even greater hit in 2022. And now, “Leo” is in the lineup with Thalapathy Vijay. Until now, there were no reports about “Kaithi’s” sequel, but we’ve now received confirmation from Karthi himself.

Karthi, who was at the launch event of “Japan,” his upcoming movie with Raju Murugan, was asked about “Kaithi 2,” to which he responded, “We already have plans for it.” The confirmation from Karthi has ignited excitement among fans. The movie will continue the story of Dilli and his daughter after the drug bust incident.

Regarding fan theories, there are numerous possibilities, especially with Thalapathy Vijay and Kamal Hasan potentially joining hands. We’re not quite sure about the release dates yet, but it will surely be on the floor after Lokesh is finished with “Leo.”
