Lately we have witnessed Vivek Oberoi playing a cop in Rohit Shetty’s debut web series Indian Police Force. Here, he shared screen with stars like Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty, showcasing his versatility and talent. He recently opened up about his experience in Bollywood and how lobbying almost destroyed his career at a point.

He candidly opened up about how Bollywood is divided into different lobbies. And how they systematically victimise people who don’t have a solid background and support.

His feud with Salman Khan is not news to anyone! Everyone knows his relationship with Aishwarya Rai and the altercation with her then ex-boyfriend Salman left him at a terrible point in his career.

Oberoi showed great potential with films like Saathiya and Company. But later he felt cornered by the industry and made some terrible career choices. Or can we say he was forced, because he had no other option?

It is not the first time that Vivek has talked about this matter. It might also seem that he is hiding the blunders he made in film selections when he made cheesy films like Prince, Masti or Bank Chor. However, Vivek believes that he did not fall deep into depression and decided to change the trajectory of his career while he had time. But we didn’t see much impact in the last decade. We are yet to see if Vivek will learn from his past mistakes.
