The Telugu OTT space is buzzing with the success of Animal, Guntur Kaaram, and Salaar. These films have been entertaining the Telugu OTT folk over the last few weeks.
Now, the stage is set for the OTT debut of a couple of other Telugu films. While one is a social drama, Ambajipeta Marriage Band, the other is Bootcut Balaraju.
Ambajipeta has Suhas in the lead role and it is billed to be an intense social drama. This is the genre and theme that is better suited for OTT viewing. This film will apparently be made available for streaming on Aha Video from the 1st of March.
Then there’s Bigg Boss fame Sohel’s Bootcut Balaraju which is also premiering on 1st March. This film is to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
This film was trolled not for its content, but after Sohel questioned the public so as to why they were not coming out to watch the film. This gained some attention for the film but it still went unnoticed at the box office. It has to be seen how it will fare on OTT.
