What to Watch on OTT

OTTs Reject Akshay for Reporting Fake Collections?

Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force was the first Hindi film in 2025 to reach 100 crores at the box office.

During the film’s campaign at the theaters, several trade analysts exposed the film’s corporate booking scam calling out the makers for showing increased collections and ticket sales.

Many also stated how the film’s actual collections are way lower and makers purposely booked tickets to increase the film’s hype.

Despite all the allegations, the film crossed the 100 crore mark at the box office but still looks to capitalize on its OTT release.

However, it seems that no OTT platform is ready to be associated with the film. Several sources state that the film is currently being sidelined by every major OTT platform and is facing trouble ahead of its digital release.

These issues are rising after the controversy surrounding the film involving corporate bookings and fake numbers.

As things stand, none of the OTT platforms want themselves to associate with a film that might issue no returns after release leaving Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force in possibly a no man’s land.
