In 2011, the franchise entered its second chapter, followed by a long hibernation. The undeniable truth is that “Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin, namumkin hai” (It’s not just difficult to catch Don, it’s impossible). However, Farhan, a different breed, captures Don and presents us with his greatness. He releases a video on social media platforms, creating waves.

The video doesn’t reveal anything except the number 3 and a short sentence: ‘A new era begins.’ This was enough to spark fans’ imaginations, leading them to speculate.

Speculation already abounds that Ranveer Singh has replaced the mighty SRK in the franchise. The question of whether this change is good or bad will arise after the teaser’s release, but for now, fans are rather upset.

Amitabh embodied the role of the criminal mastermind in the 80’s, but in the franchise’s reboot, he was replaced by the 21st century sensation, SRK, who starred in two consecutive Don movies—one in 2006 and the second in 2011.

The film’s teaser will be shown simultaneously with the screening of “Gadar 2,” starting from August 11th. The third installment won’t grace theaters before 2025. However, in just a couple of days as the teaser is released, more and more updates will surely follow.
