Kuberaa OTT: Will Tamil Finally Embrace Dhanush?

Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles and directed by Sekhar Kammula, was released in theatres on June 20th and has received positive responses from audiences.

After a solid theatrical run, Kuberaa is now going to stream on the Amazon Prime OTT platform with a 4-week OTT window from July 18th in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Even though Kuberaa is a bilingual movie and was shot in two languages, Tamil and Telugu, it became a blockbuster success in its theatrical run in the Telugu states, whereas in Tamil Nadu, it ended its theatrical run with an average status.

Following Kuberaa’s OTT release update, many Dhanush fans on social media are responding that Tamil audiences failed to celebrate this good movie by not watching it in theatres and neglected Dhanush’s masterclass performance in the movie.

So, they are hoping that many Kollywood audiences will feel bad after its OTT release for not watching it in theatres, and therefore, they are hoping that it will become a blockbuster success on OTT.

However, Kuberaa is going to be available in five languages on Amazon Prime OTT from July 18th, and it remains to be seen whether it becomes a blockbuster success on OTT too, upon its release.
