Prabhas is the biggest box office force in Indian cinema right now. After fiascos like Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush, he made a strong comeback with Salaar and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
Fans are now eagerly anticipating The Raja Saab, Spirit, and a film with director Hanu Raghavapudi, tentatively titled Fauji.
Set during World War II, the film features Prabhas as a British soldier. The pooja ceremony took place in August, and production is set to begin soon.
Now reports are coming that Fauji is attracting huge attention from OTT platforms. Amazon Prime Video is reportedly interested and has offered a whopping 150 crores for the streaming rights of the film’s South versions- Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Prabhas hasn’t even stepped onto the sets of Fauji yet and OTT platforms are going crazy with their offers.
In comparison, Netflix secured the streaming rights for Prabhas’ film Salaar for a staggering 160 crores, while Disney+ Hotstar acquired the Hindi version.
It will be interesting to see how much the Hindi version of Fauji will fetch.
