Huma Qureshi On Boards Season 3 Of This Acclaimed Series

After making a mark worldwide and getting nominations at the Emmy Awards, Delhi Crime is gearing up for its third season. In this season, we also have a new entrant into the series. Huma Qureshi is all set to brace the small screens with her role in the intense and intricate portrayal of a serious crime in the capital of India. She will be playing a key role along with Shefali Shah. Shefali Shah won critical acclaim for her character of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi.

Tanuj Chopra will be reprising his directorship in the third installment as well. Ulajh director Shudhanshu Sarai has also joined the creative team of Delhi Crimes. The shooting will take place in Delhi to bring in the realistic touch to the locations and settings. Speculations are emerging that the show will focus on the viscious nexus of human trafficking operating in the underground scene of the city.

The first season of Delhi Crime established it’s international acclaim with intense portrayal and brave depiction of the real life incident of 2012 Delhi Gang Rape. We can expect the new season will also draw inspiration from a real life incident. It will be revealed in due time how well the third season lives upto it’s reputation.
