The first one is “Ishq-E-Nadaan”, starring Mohit Raina, Lara Dutta, and Neena Gupta which begins with a poetic dialogue being delivered by Mohit. Following the lives of urban couples and their love stories, the film feels like a breath of fresh air in this over-saturated era of movies. The movie is going to release on 14th july and it might serve as a good feel-good experience if promoted well.
The next on the chart is a suspense-thriller movie called “Blind” starring Sonam Kapoor. It is about a visually impaired girl who is on a mission to uncover the truth about a dangerous criminal. While it’s difficult to imagine Sonam in such a complex role. We can only hope that she delivers it well.
The third movie is “The Magic Of Shiri” in which Divyanka Tripathi plays a housewife who wants to be a magician. The plot looks promising but we can’t say the same about other departments of the movie. “Ishq Next Door” is another coming-of-age romantic movie about a couple.
Jio studio also launches a Marathi movie named “Unaad” which looks certainly one of the best. The trailer shows the journey of a few youngsters from Koli community. Aditya Sarpotdar who has made movies like “Mauli” and “Classmates” is the creator of this movie.
The same promotional issue was felt during Asur season 2 where they released its trailer just a week before its premiere. The Studio needs to know that in order to survive in this cutthroat competition of streaming services, they need to promote their good work as much as they can.
