Jio Hotstar has taken a big responsibility with the streaming of IPL. It is a show that all of India watches together and there must not be any mistakes in the live streaming.
But it looks like fans are not very happy with the streaming experience. Jio Hotstar seems to be more interested in making money through ads than they are in customer satisfaction.
Fans Have complained that the ‘Live’ streaming of IPL was two balls behind the actual match. And it happened because Jio Hotstar chose to show multiple full length ads in between the match.
It is extremely frustrating to know the score on the internet first and then getting to see it in the match. What sense does it make in streaming ‘live’ if it is not live after all.
Jio Hotstar should refrain from showing ads at the cost of the match. They should take care of streaming the live matches with more dedication otherwise fans will soon be frustrated beyond measure and it will be very bad for the platform. And no amount of ads will be able to do much then.
