Khufiya Trailer: Tabu & Vishal Bhardwaj Back With Bang

There are very few directors in Bollywood whose movies are highly awaited. Vishal Bhardwaj, throughout his filmography, from “Maqbool” to “Kaminey,” “Omkara,” and “Haider,” has created a certain section of the audience who desperately wait for his films. They are sure that these movies are not merely good stories but will go on to become some of the most researched and praised pieces of art for the upcoming decades and beyond.

Vishal Bhardwaj has collaborated with Netflix to come up with his new suspense thriller movie called “Khufiya,” whose unique announcement video was dropped last week. The trailer, which was released today, shows Tabu in the lead role, with whom this will be his third partnership after “Maqbool” and “Haider.” The movie also stars Ali Fazal and the beautiful Wamiqa Gabbi, who has also worked with Vishal in a short film, “Fursat,” and a series, “Charlie Chopra.” Vishal is known for adapting the Shakespearean trilogy, and here in this trailer, he keeps dropping Easter eggs throughout.

The 2-minute 39-second trailer hooks us with its crisp editing without revealing the major twists and questions throughout its runtime. “Khufiya,” dealing with the topic of patriotism this time, will be released on October 5th, only on Netflix India.
