Mid-2024 Report, See Who’s Leading The Indian Streaming Market

Ormax Media has released the report card of the mid-session of 2024. Different streaming platforms and their shows contended to top the class but Panchayat emerged as the topper. The rural comedy-drama directed by Deepak Mishra has won fans over, showcasing the power of authentic Indian narratives. It has over 28.2 million viewers making it India’s most watched series.

Next up is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi, which in spite of its critical reception has attracted 20.3 million viewers. All the grandiose of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali project and its star cast of strong female leads has paid well for its performance. Followed by Indian Police Force and Kota Factory gaining 19.5 million and 15.7 million viewers respectively.

Fans have also bestowed their love on the films over OTT as well. Acclaimed director Imtiaz Ali’s first OTT venture, Netflix’s Amar Singh Chamkila has dominated the small-screens with 12.9 million viewers. Followed by comic murder mystery, Murder Mubarak starring Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan and Vijay Varma that gained 12.2 million viewers. We have Ae Watan Mere Watan and Maharaj next in line with 10.6 million and 9.8 million viewers each.
