Amidst the huge number of crime shows in India, very few web series have made such a significant impact on the country as Mirzapur. With its two seasons filled with blood and drama, the series is a great depiction of India’s gangster rule in Purvanchal.
After Mirzapur’s Season 2, there was a significant dip in the quality of crime shows in India. A sense of mediocrity was evident in shows like Khakee, Abhay, Bhaukaal, and even Bambai Meri Jaan. None of them could generate the same hype as Mirzapur.
With huge anticipation, the announcement of Mirzapur Season 3’s trailer excited the public. There hasn’t been such excitement for a show in a long time.
The trailer of Mirzapur Season 3 begins with flashbacks of previous killings, including those of Bablu and Munna Bhaiya.
Now that the throne of Mirzapur has been annexed by Guddu Pandit, many jackals and hyenas are eyeing it. Guddu must defend himself and Mirzapur from their attacks, with the biggest threat being Kaleen Bhaiya, who is still recovering from the loss of his son.
The trailer looks good compared to other mediocre shows released so far, but it doesn’t match the thrill and madness of Season 2. We probably miss Munna Bhaiya and his chaotic energy a little too much. Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Varma, and many more, Mirzapur Season 3 is set to premiere on July 5, only on Prime Video.
