The story follows the life of Debika played beautifully by Rani, and her children when members of Norwegian Child Welfare Services take their children from their house during one of their routine inspections claiming they were unable to care for their children.

As the story unfolds, viewers are taken on a rollercoaster of emotions, witnessing the complex battle between a mother’s love and the bureaucratic machinery. The supporting cast includes Jim Sarbh who plays the lawyer, Neena Gupta- the external affairs minister, Anirban Bhattacharya – Dabika’s husband, and others.
