Neeraj Pandey’s Freelancer Gets A Release Date On Hotstar

Neeraj Pandey, the man behind some of India’s best suspense thriller movies like “A Wednesday,” “Baby,” and “Special 26,” and after excelling in web shows with “Special Ops” and “Special Ops 1.5,” is back with another nail-biting thriller based on a book by Shirish Thorat titled “A Ticket To Syria.”

The show revolves around Avinash, “A Freelancer” portrayed by Mohit Raina, who embarks on a mission to rescue a girl from Syria. Mohit Raina, known for his roles in movies like “URI” and “Shiddat,” a powerhouse of talent that has never been fully explored, will be able to showcase his abilities in this show. The series also features Neeraj Pandey’s regular cast, including Anupam Kher and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles. The show also includes Kashmira Pardeshi as Aaliya, who is a regular face in Telugu films.

The “Extraction” show will also focus on a girl named Alia, who travels to Syria after her marriage, assuming it to be their honeymoon, but things are not as simple as they seem. The series delves into several topics such as jihad, religious intolerance, and terrorism.
