OTT Surprise: Decent Emotional Drama

Jio Hotstar recently released Ashutosh Rana starrer Kaushaljis vs Kaushal in an interesting family drama entertainer.

The story showcases two relationships from different generations, it tries to display how differences in a relationship can spoil everything.

According to several early reviews, the film has a great plot and premise but what is lacking is the poor writing which keeps the film a light-hearted one.

The film also showcases Pavail Gulati as the son of Ashutosh Rana and Sheeba Chadha who is fed up with the old generation’s thoughts and thinking but gets his world turned upside down after learning that his parents are going for a divorce.

Isha Talvar is seen in a love angle with Pavail Gulati which lacks on-screen chemistry. While people are praising Ashutosh Rana’s performance, the film lacks a compelling plot through its runtime.

Apart from Ashutosh Rana and Sheeba Chadha’s efforts to make the film a watchable one, other performances are mediocre as rated by critics and viewers.

All in all, the film is considered to be a one-time watch by the audience only for Ashutosh Rana and Sheeba Chadha. The light-hearted family drama can certainly light up your mood and can be watched once.
