The wait to return to Phulera may soon be over. Panchayat director Deepak Kumar Mishra has shared a major update on the highly anticipated fifth season of the popular series. He revealed that the show is currently in the editing stage and could arrive as early as October or November 2026.
Speaking about the release timeline, Deepak said that work on Panchayat Season 5 is progressing. However, the makers are yet to finalise an exact premiere date. If everything goes as planned, fans may not have to wait much longer to catch up with Abhishek and the beloved residents of Phulera.
The new season will pick up after the dramatic events of Season 4 and the village elections. With Pradhan Ji suffering a defeat, the upcoming episodes will explore how his life changes after losing power and how the other characters move forward following the election twist. The consequences of the results are expected to play an important role in shaping the next chapter.
It may also focus on Sachiv Ji and Rinki’s love story that has been hanging for a very long time.
And for fans worried that the end may be near, Deepak Mishra has put those rumours to rest. The director has confirmed that Season 5 will not be the final season of Panchayat. The show’s original cast, including Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik and Chandan Roy, is expected to return.
