Netflix’s Murder Mystery Sequel: Who’s This Bansal?

Raat Akeli Hai released on Netflix in 2020 and impressed audiences with its dark and gripping mystery. Nawazuddin Siddiqui played a determined cop who investigated the murder of a newly married landlord. The film earned strong appreciation from thriller lovers.

Now the makers are returning with a second installment titled Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders. The film will first be screened at the 56th International Film Festival of India in November and will later stream on Netflix for viewers across India and abroad.

Honey Trehan is directing the sequel as well, and Smita Singh returns as the writer. The story revolves around a fictional case known as The Bansal Murders, hinting at a cold-blooded mystery that aims to raise the stakes higher this time.

Fans are hopeful that this chapter will create more excitement and attract a larger audience. With Nawazuddin back in a strong crime thriller avatar, expectations are already rising.
