The JioHotstar’s premier show has been buzzing around since its release, but one thing seems to be a huge problem for the users: ADS!
In the past few months, there have been countless complaints regarding the number of advertisements displayed by top OTT giants like Prime Video and JioHotstar.
Users faced disruptions in watching their favorite shows and films due to a flood of advertisements every now and then. The same case was seen with Special Ops 2, as the viewing experience was disrupted by an ad break after every 10 minutes.
Taking it to social media, a user was frustrated with this issue and stated that Netflix would have presented Special Ops 2 in a better way than JioHotstar without any advertisements.
Many users have been targeting the OTT giant for generating too many advertisements after every 10-15 minutes, which is similar to that of Television streaming.
While OTT was meant to oppose TV and Cable streaming, users think it is replicating the same problem and is becoming a copy of a television network.
It remains to be seen if JioHotstar tries to decrease the amount of advertisements shown or takes any other step to rectify this problem or not.
As for Special Ops 2, things would have been better for the crime drama series if it had been released on Netflix without any interruptions, hence giving users what they want.
