Amazon Prime Video’s 2-Device Rule Is a Joke!

A prime video user has shown the issue regarding a recurring issue in their smart TV’s because of Prime Video’s strict two device policy.

A recent post by a Prime Video user highlighted the issue they have faced when they simply logged out from their smart TV and tried to sign in on the same device when the platform showed that they both were different devices. Which created an interruption on their ongoing subscription.

The core of the complaint lies in how Prime Video misidentifies the same device as “new” after a re-login or minor update, triggering the two-device limit and forcing users to either wait, remove another device, or pay again for rentals.

Furthermore this wasn’t a technical glitch or anything, this problem is faced by several people.

While Amazon has not issued a formal response yet, this kind of technical glitch can potentially impact user trust and subscription renewals.

For a global platform like Prime Video it is essential to keep these things in mind that the subscribers should have no issues while switching from one device to another.

Users are now asking Amazon to look upon this issue for its TV app that can resolve this recognition issue.

As streaming intensifies with each passing day small inconveniences like this can turn into a big no from users.
