Recently, netizens are talking on social media about how the video quality of Sun Nxt is a lot better than Prime Video’s. Sun Nxt is a very small regional platform compared to Prime Video and it is unbelievable that users are more impressed with its video quality than that of Prime.
People say Prime usually gives a HDR10+ quality while Sun Nxt offers Dolby Vision for most contents. A regional platform offering Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for a large number of titles is not a very trivial thing.
Prime Video is an international platform with a grand slate of original and licensed titles which very few platforms can compete with. But Sun Nxt providing better service than Prime in terms of video quality is indeed something strange.
This is great news for Sun Nxt that subscribers are acknowledging the effort that they are putting into the streaming. Meanwhile, Prime Video will need to work more on their service. It has a goodwill earned through many years and can catch up again soon if they put some more effort on the video quality.
