Prime Video has officially announced its upcoming original comedy series Do You Wanna Partner, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, premiering on September 12, 2025.
The series stars Tamannaah Bhatia as Shikha and Diana Penty as Anahita—two best friends who decide to launch their own alcohol startup in an industry largely dominated by men. The bold and quirky storyline explores friendship, ambition, and breaking patriarchal barriers with a vibrant mix of humor and sass.
Directed by Archit Kumar and Collin D’Cunha, and written by Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora, and Mithun Gongopadhyay, the show marks Dharmatic Entertainment’s most daring venture yet.
Karan Johar, speaking about the project, described it as “ambitious, vibrant, and extremely fun.” He also highlighted his successful collaboration with Prime Video on Call Me Bae (starring Ananya Panday), which set the stage for this bold new narrative.
Fans are already buzzing about the pairing of Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty, both known for their charm, glamour, and screen presence. With its offbeat plot and fresh energy, Do You Wanna Partner promises to be a refreshing OTT comedy drama that blends laughter with empowerment.
