Originally set to stream on Netflix on September 20 in four languages—Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada—recent reports suggest complications regarding its OTT release.

There are rumors that Netflix may cancel its OTT deal for Thangalaan due to a disagreement with the production company. This is nothing less than shocking.

Reports indicate that Netflix has requested a reduction in the agreed-upon amount for the digital rights, especially after the film flopped at the box office.

Thangalaan was made on a budget of around 100 crores but only managed to collect about 70 crores.
