This movie held lots of expectations before its release, but after release it didn’t meet the expectations of the audiences and ended up as an average one. Even though the film acquired mixed responses, Chiyaan Vikram’s acting in this movie was highly appreciated by every audience.

Initially, the team sold its OTT release for Netflix at a whopping price, but after the release, after the movie got mixed responses, there were reports that Netflix had backed out.

Also now there is another issue raised against Thangalaan OTT Release; as per sources, a person named Porkodi has filed a case against Thangalaan to ban the release of this movie in OTT.

As per the case, it is mentioned that this movie portrays the Buddha religion on the good side, whereas it trolls the Vainavam religion on the bad side. This may bring a fight against two religions after its OTT release.

Previously the Netflix deal was against Thangalaan OTT, and now it looks like the OTT audience should wait some more time to watch the Thangalaan movie in OTT.
