Blockbuster Horror Hits OTT: Indian Fans Not Happy

The Conjuring saga has finally reached its end with The Last Rite, which released on 5 September and quickly became a hit in theatres. The final chapter gave fans one last thrill from the iconic horror franchise that starred Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.

In India, fans rushed to theatres to watch the film and celebrate the conclusion of the Conjuring story. The duo’s journey as paranormal investigators came to a fitting end, marking the close of a decade-long horror legacy.

For those who missed it on the big screen, the film has already arrived on OTT platforms abroad. The Conjuring: The Last Rite is available on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+ on a pay-per-view basis for $25 per viewing.

Indian fans are waiting eagerly for its OTT release, as the delay has disappointed many. Reports suggest the movie will premiere in India on 25 November for rental streaming. Until then, fans will have to hold on to their excitement.

Distributed by Warner Bros, the film has earned nearly Rs. 458 million worldwide. Viewers appreciated the emotional closure and classic scares, even though many felt it wasn’t as frightening as earlier parts. Still, it served as a satisfying farewell to the Conjuring universe.
