Patel, the creator of the show, believed that the entertainment industry is opening up to the minority perspectives. The show brings a great blend of comedy with real issues like racism, typical family problems, and other immigrant struggles.
While everything is exaggerated for the sake of comedy, The Pradeeps tries to resonate with its target audience. That is why they have brought more India-American writers on board to give an authentic immigrant perspective.
