Brad Pitt Blockbuster F1 OTT: Amazon Prime Slammed

Amazon Prime Video is facing backlash after setting the rental price of Brad Pitt’s sports drama F1 at Rs 499. The film had an impressive theatrical run before making its way to the OTT platform.

Fans who were waiting to stream F1 at home are disappointed. Instead of being included in the subscription, the film is only available on rent, leaving users unhappy with Prime Video’s strategy.

The Rs 499 rent has sparked anger on social media. Many users are questioning why they should pay extra for new films when they already have an active subscription.

The discontent does not stop with F1. Rajkummar Rao’s action thriller Maalik has also been released on Prime Video, but it too is only available on rent.

Frustrated viewers argue that such practices drive audiences toward piracy on torrent sites and Telegram. Whether Amazon Prime Video will address these growing concerns remains to be seen.
