Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies Gets A Release Date

Zoya Akhtar will be back, this time on the small screen. “The Archies” has received mixed reviews as fans constantly call it ‘a product of nepotism,’ but Zoya Akhtar’s craft can never be doubted, as Netflix announces the release date.

As per their recent announcement, the movie will hit the platform on 7th December.

“The Archies” is the Indian adaptation of the Archies comics and will feature characters such as Betty, Archie, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel, and Dilton in the fictional hill town of Riverdale in the 1960s.

Also, the cast selection brings a fresh set of faces that includes Suhana Khan, Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Agastya Nanda, Yuvraj Menda, Khushi Kapoor, and others.

Though the star cast belongs to established Bollywood families, they surely promise a memorable watch time for “The Archies.”

There has been much anticipation regarding the debut of Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda in the industry, and nothing could have been better than a Zoya Akhtar project to introduce them.

“The Archies” is a typical Zoya Akhtar show, as it features members of high society having fun and celebrating life with problems that are completely unrelatable to the common audience. Zoya Akhtar has been accused of telling one-sided stories of the elite, rich society, but she has excelled equally in “Gully Boy.”
