400+ cops in mosque for security yet shoot cancelled!

The most recent project of Shah Rukh Khan, Raees, has been getting into conflicts for some time now. While earlier it was in the news regarding its mega clash in the box office with Salman Khan’s Sultan, this time the trouble is regarding permit troubles related to the shooting of the film.

As it so happens, the unit including Shah Rukh were also start to begin shooting in Ahmedabad at an ancient mosque and tomb complex, Sarkhej Roza. To this end, around 400 men were also deployed at the venue of the filming to provide complete protection to the star keeping in mind the protest King Khan had faced in Kutch. Unfortunately, things did not pan out since the unit had not taken adequate permits and the shooting did not begin.

The problem was that despite taking approval from local authorities, the unit had not taken permit from ASI (Archaeological Survey of India) which Sarkhej Roza being a historic monument requires.
