Aamir Khan is all set to announce a new film. A photo of the same has started grabbing a lot of attention, where Aamir’s self-titled production company has invited members of the media on July 29, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. for a special announcement.
While Aamir or his team has not spoken to the media about the viral announcement, it has already created excitement among the audience about the kind of film Aamir is choosing this time.
But there is heavy speculation on social media that it could be a film directed by Rajkumar Hirani or Lokesh Kanagaraj. Aamir is already working with Lokesh in Rajinikanth’s Coolie, which releases next month, by making a cameo. The poster has already received a positive response.
On the other hand, Aamir and Rajkumar’s collaboration has always been beneficial for the box office and also provided entertainment to family audiences at the same time.
The best thing for now is that Aamir has previously confirmed on two different occasions that he will work with Rajkumar and Lokesh on two new films. One of them is a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke, directed by Rajkumar, and the second is a superhero film, directed by Lokesh.
For now, it seems like the biopic has a better chance of going on floors. Rajkumar Hirani has not announced a new film, and this can be the best chance for him to bounce back after the failure of Dunki.
But this does not mean that the superhero film with Lokesh Kanagaraj will not happen. The only difference is that it might take a few more years since Lokesh might want to work on a new installment of LCU, considering that audiences have been waiting for the sequels of Kaithi, Leo, and Vikram for a long time.
Moreover, Lokesh will need some time to make things perfect for Aamir and the superstar’s presentation on screen to ensure that fans are not disappointed.
