Do you know the budget of TEPK? It’s just Rs. 18 crores and Akshay sees there is no comparison between ‘Baahubali’ which was made with Rs. 400 crores and his film, with just Rs. 18 crores. He is totally sensible when he said that the returns on his film will be different. Akshay Kumar’s last release ‘Jolly LLB 2’ had crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark.

He is in awe of the way South films are promoted with a budget, spending at most Rs. 2 crores. In a recent media interaction, the Bollywood star sees the emptiness of the promotional strategies they follow in B’Town going to reality shows and organizing press meets. It’s true that the promotional events in Bollywood are really hectic and they spend a lot of money and time on them.
