Jio Studios has reportedly moved to secure its status as “First and Paramount in Lien”. This means any profits generated through the collaboration with Ali Abbas Zafar LLP must first be used to meet Jio Studios’ commercial commitments.

Trade circles and followers believe this clause may have caused unease for Ali Abbas Zafar as the primary creative force behind the project. Speculation suggests that future collaborations between the two parties could now face strain.

So far, Ali Abbas Zafar LLP has not issued any official statement regarding the matter. Some fans feel Bloody Daddy did not perform strongly, and questions around profits have raised concerns about creative control and ownership.
