Recently a Pinkvilla article by Himesh Mankad has popped up, saying that the project was shelved due to Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan being unavailable for the same.
The article claimed that while Kamal was uncomfortable playing the role of Salman’s dad, Rajinikanth did not have time until 2026 due to extensive commitments.
It might be possible that Salman’s PR has jumped in for damage control, seeing a significant negative bubble building around the actor’s image.
It will be interesting to see whether these articles will be able to do anything to control Salman’s vanishing star power or if the actor and his team will realise that delivering good performances alone can get him out of this mess.
