Sanjay Dutt, who plays the villain in Baaghi 4, shared his experience of working with Tiger Shroff in a conversation reported by Himesh Mankad of Pinkvilla. The film also features Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa as the female leads.
Sanjay said in an interview that although his character is intense and brutal, audiences would still connect with him once they leave the theatres. He mentioned being deeply moved by the script, something he had not felt since Vaastav.
He added that he trained hard for the role, preparing with dedication and effort. According to him, the experience felt like being a newcomer on set. He claimed the film would be special for everyone involved.
Dutt has often been praised for negative roles on screen. His latest comments, however, have caught attention, with some suggesting that they could be part of a promotional strategy designed to create interest in the sequel.
Many netizens believe that while Baaghi 4 has not generated major buzz, the comparison to Vaastav may be an attempt to build hype. Fans insist that Vaastav is a cult classic whose characters cannot be recreated.
With Baaghi 4 finally reaching theatres after a long delay, it remains to be seen whether audiences will show up to witness Sanjay Dutt’s brutal performance. The film may struggle at the box office unless strong word of mouth builds momentum.
