Bhumi Pednekar has taken a break from work and it does not look like a PR move. After her stint in The Royals opposite Ishaan Khatter she quietly went on a hiatus. She later confirmed this in an interview.

Bhumi said most of the break was due to trolling on social media. She chose to stay private and avoid drama while stepping away. The time helped her regain focus and emotional balance.

She also revealed she had been on this break since June last year. The goal was to find herself again and reset. Bhumi accepted that the decision had mixed reactions.

Despite the negative talk she felt glad that many people liked her work in The Royals. That support mattered during a difficult phase. It gave her some confidence while staying away from the spotlight.
