Bollywood Dragged into Politics: MB’s Fake Video

Before the Bihar elections in 2025, Bollywood is being leveraged by political parties for PR wars. The “Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai” video featured Arshad Warsi, Varun Dhawan, Rajkummar Rao, and Vikrant Massey.

Many believe it was a PR video by the BJP government to appeal to the public.

Another case emerged with a video of Manoj Bajpayee allegedly endorsing RJD, shared by Tejashwi Yadav. The actor responded swiftly, condemning the video as heavily doctored.

He clarified he had shot the original clip for a streaming platform, and that its use was unethical. The video was reportedly created by RJD’s IT wing, and later taken down amid backlash.

Being from Bihar, Manoj Bajpayee commands huge respect and many loyal followers. He urged people to stop sharing distorted content and avoid misleading videos.

If that doctored video had spread without clarity, many might have believed it, which seems to be the motive. With the “Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai” video already drawing criticism, others are being dragged into this PR trend.

While actors have the right to political views, false narratives and manipulated images harm their credibility. Such tactics eventually backfire when the truth emerges.
